Did you know that USB 3.0 is not natively supported in Windows 7. So if you happen to plug in a USB 3.0 device and it does not get recognized, don’t be surprised!
There are however two solutions to it:
- Download and install the official drivers from the USB 3.0 manufacturer's site and Windows 7 should then recognize your USB drive.
- Alternatively, download the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (RC). I am told that SP1 supports USB 3.0.
